Available materials include (on select photographs):
- Fuji Luster - Vivid color reproduction, brilliant whites, with a semi-gloss luster finish; this paper offers a sharper, crisper image.
- Fuji Pearl* - High quality gloss finish with a distinctive pearl-like appearance. Ideal for professional applications such as commercial, fashion and portrait photography.
- Kodak Metallic* - High gloss finish and metallic appearance creates exceptionally unique depth, rich vibrant colors and flattering flesh tones. Idea for commercial, fashion and portrait photography.
- Canvas & Aluminium Sheets - CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE
*In my experience, the Kodak Metallic and Fuji Pearl papers are nearly interchangable. The Kodak paper has a lightly warmer cast and the slightest amount of extra contrast, whereas the Fuji is a bit cooler with a faint pearlescent texture (which is nigh indistinguishable when framed). I try to use these slight material differences to my advantage, offering pictures with warmer tones on the Kodak paper, and pictures with cooler tones on the Fuji paper for their best presentations.
+ Sizing
As a photographer I choose my compositions very carefully, tailoring the image to draw one's eye directly where I want it to go. As such, my images are not cropped to "standard" sizes. By default, all photography ordered will be printed on paper one size larger than ordered, giving the image a white paper border. This is useful for general framing and matting, as it provides a surface to attach to the matte and allows me to keep my original proportions. The downside is that it often requires one to purchase custom-sized mattes to fit the actual image dimensions.
In the example below, the option chosen is 11"x14", so I size the image to the largest dimension, giving me 9.26" x 14". I then print it onto an 11"x16" sheet of paper.
