As the son of a photographer, Joshua developed a keen sense of the visual arts at an early age. He has lived in the Hudson Valley for most of his life and began learning about visual effects in the seventh grade, simulating lightsabers and teleporting himself across his living room.
When in high school, Josh was recruited by Full Sail University, where he spent two sleepless years in humid Winter Park, Florida, immersed in computer animation and compositing courses, and graduated as valedictorian of his class.
Since graduation, Joshua has worked as a VFX generalist, both independently and through vendors such as Occlusion VFX and Digital Film Tree. He has worked on numerous television shows (including The Umbrella Academy, Ted Lasso, NCIS LA, & Home Economics), music videos, short films, student films, and the occasional feature.
